Marvel Spider-Man — Cosbi Collection — Assortment of 8 x 8 cm blind box figurines
Immerse yourself in the world of Spider-Man with this assortment of miniature figures from the Cosbi collection. The display pack contains eight mystery boxes featuring the famous Marvel hero, as well as several characters and variations inspired by his many adventures.
The figures feature the distinctive style of the Cosbi range, with an oversized head, a compact body and particularly expressive facial features. The costumes, emblems and accessories are rendered in a chibi style that retains the key elements needed to identify each character.
The collection comprises nine different models to discover. Each box contains a randomly selected figure, so the contents remain unknown until the box is opened. The models may depict different versions of Spider-Man as well as heroes or villains associated with his universe.
The display pack contains eight individual blind boxes. As the collection comprises nine different models, purchasing an assortment does not necessarily guarantee that you will collect them all. The presence of duplicates or the absence of certain characters depends on the distribution of the boxes.
Each figure is approximately 8 cm tall. Thanks to their compact size, they can be displayed on a shelf, a desk or in a display cabinet dedicated to Marvel heroes.
Character background and lore
Spider-Man is the superhero identity of Peter Parker, a young man living in New York. After being bitten by a radioactive spider during a science demonstration, Peter develops superhuman strength and agility, as well as the ability to cling to walls.
He also possesses a spider-sense, an instinctive perception that warns him of impending danger. Passionate about science, Peter designs his own web-shooters and the synthetic web fluid that allows him to swing between Manhattan’s skyscrapers.
At first, he tries to use his abilities to gain money and recognition. Following the death of his Uncle Ben – whom he might have been able to save – Peter realises that his powers come with a great responsibility. He therefore decides to protect the people of New York under the identity of Spider-Man.
Despite his extraordinary abilities, Peter must continue to cope with the challenges of a relatively ordinary life. He divides his time between his studies, his job, his personal relationships and his work as a vigilante, whilst trying to keep his secret identity safe.
During his adventures, Spider-Man faces numerous adversaries, including the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Venom, the Lizard, Electro, the Vulture, Mysterio and the Kingpin. Several of these enemies have a personal, scientific or professional connection to Peter Parker.
The Marvel Universe also includes many other incarnations of the hero. Miles Morales, Spider-Gwen, Spider-Man 2099, Spider-Man Noir and various alternative versions of Peter Parker are all part of the vast Spider-Verse.
Despite their different origins and costumes, these heroes generally share the same values: protecting the innocent, accepting the consequences of their choices and using their abilities responsibly.
This Cosbi collection brings the world of Spider-Man to life in a compact, stylised format. The mystery box concept reflects the diversity of the Spider-Verse and allows you to gradually discover different figures associated with the famous Web-Slinger.
