The mischievous Stitch is enjoying a holiday in the sun in this ‘Stitch on Holiday’ set, part of Hot Toys’ Cosbi collection. The series features Experiment 626 in eight humorous summer scenes, accompanied on several figures by his faithful doll, Scrump.
The figures feature the distinctive style of the Cosbi range, with compact proportions, an oversized head and particularly cheerful expressions. Stitch discovers the joys of the beach through various activities: swimming, water games, enjoying ice cream and relaxing on a rubber ring.
The display pack contains eight blind boxes, each containing a figure wrapped in an opaque bag, as well as a collectable card. The figures measure approximately 6 to 11 cm, depending on their design and accessories.

Stitch, also known asExperiment 626, is an alien creature created by the scientist Jumba Jookiba. Designed to be extremely strong, intelligent, resilient and destructive, he was condemned to exile by the Galactic Federation before managing to escape to Earth.
His spaceship crashes on the Hawaiian island of Kauaʻi. To evade the alien authorities sent to retrieve him, Stitch disguises himself as a dog at an animal shelter. He is then adopted by a little girl named Lilo Pelekai, who lives with her older sister Nani.
Lilo gives the creature his new name and tries to teach him how to behave properly. Despite his chaotic temperament and initially destructive instincts, Stitch gradually discovers affection, loyalty and a sense of belonging to a family.
The story is centred in particular on the Hawaiian conceptof ‘ohana’, which holds that family means no one should be left behind or forgotten. This idea profoundly transforms Stitch, who eventually comes to regard Lilo and Nani as his true family.
Scrump is the doll handmade by Lilo. Her deliberately irregular appearance, with her large head, mismatched eyes and a few strands of hair, reflects the young girl’s creativity. Stitch frequently uses him as a toy or companion and regularly appears alongside him in Disney merchandise.
The *Stitch on Holiday* series transports the character into a tropical holiday setting reminiscent of his daily life in Hawaii. The water activities, fruit, desserts and Scrump’s presence highlight his most cheerful and endearing side, a far cry from the destructive creature he originally was.
