Origin and backstory of the characters (Lore)
Stitch, also known asExperiment 626, is an alien creature created by the scientist Jumba Jookiba. Endowed with exceptional strength and originally designed to cause chaos, he escapes and finds himself on Earth, where he meets young Lilo Pelekai in Hawaii.
Thanks to Lilo and her sister Nani, Stitch gradually discovers the concept of family and, above all, the principleof ‘ohana’, according to which no one should be abandoned or forgotten.
Angel, also known asExperiment 624, belongs to the same series of genetic experiments as Stitch. Recognisable by her pink colour and long antennae, she shares a particularly affectionate bond with him and is often portrayed as his main love interest.
Angel also possesses a very special ability: her singing can influence the other experiments created by Jumba and alter their behaviour.
The contrast between Stitch’s boisterous nature and Angel’s gentler demeanour makes them one of the most popular duos in the Lilo & Stitch universe. The pair regularly feature together in Disney collections dedicated to friendship, love and kawaii characters.
